Our Mission!

Hey!!! Sent Out Apparel exists to spread the gospel! Lives change when people encounter the Living God & we want to help people encounter Him!

"For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him who they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'" Romans 10:13-15

How We Work!

It starts with our designs! We believe God has gifted us each with unique talents & we want to showcase them!

Christian artists can submit their artwork to be featured as one of the designs in our store! When a purchase is made, the artist earns a percentage for every unit sold, then 50% of profits go towards The Well.

The Well is a fund that provides grants for people to spread the gospel through missions or to help send kids to camp to hear the gospel!

Grants applications are prayed over & reviewed by our team. Funds are then deposited directly to approved missions fundraisers or to church youth groups, so we can steward your donations well!

So, are you ready to help people be Sent Out?

Our Story!

Hi! My name is Gretchen Ming & I am the creator & founder of Sent Out Apparel! I was a camp kid & it was at camp where I first heard the gospel, gave my life to the Lord, got baptized, & felt God place missions on my heart.

Safe to say, I love camp. So much so I went & worked three summers as a counselor at camp to share Jesus with students. During my time there, I got to witness life transformation in my campers, but I also saw & heard about the financial burden camp was placing on families.

After camp, I came home and U.S. Army Chaplain Josh Gilliam spoke on missions which reignited my heart for missions. He shared that 41% of the world has never heard the gospel. In a powerful demonstration, Josh sectioned out $100 worth of pennies to represent the average breakdown of American church spending.

He dumped the first bucket filled with 5,000 pennies onto the stage to represent staffing costs, the next bucket, 3,000 pennies for building expenses, the next bucket, 1,200 pennies for programs, the next bucket, 790 pennies for missions, and finally, he no longer needed a bucket, he grabbed 10 pennies from his pocket for the 41%.

Between my time at camp & Josh's message I wanted to help fill the gap for camper's families & for the nations. Sent Out Apparel was created to help fill these two gaps.

Jesus Sent Out the disciples to go tell the world about Him & we are still Sent Out by God on a mission to tell people about Jesus. I thought I could combine my heart for missions & camp ministry by helping send out young adults to spread the gospel & by sending out students to go hear the gospel at camp! Now I'm just stumbling through the rest of the steps so bare with me :)
